The annual presentation of the Utrecht Sports Prize took place in the week of February 14, 2022.
Every year this Sports Prize is awarded to the Utrecht athlete, sports talent, sports team, sports coach, sports provider, sports compliment and sports volunteer of the year. In this way, the municipality of Utrecht contributes to a healthier city and supports its involved residents.
For the 2022 edition we were asked to make a beautiful city wooden trophy for the prize for (sports) volunteer of the year! And of course we are more than happy to do that.
This year, Fons Visser and Richard Smits received a sturdy city wooden trophy.
Of course, with the Utrecht Dom Tower in the leading role.
