The Utrecht based illustrator/street artist MRKUBUS has been making murals and graffiti for 16 years. In 2019, the first version of the "FriendlyHero" character emerged. This expression was soon noticed within the Graffiti and street art scene in (central) Netherlands.

"The idea of the character quickly crystallized into bringing a smile to the beholder. My personal goal is to highlight all levels of society. With a message of balanced identity, Yin Yang, the good and bad, Grey. "

After Bunbun, the FriendlyHero is the second in the series 'Utrecht street art x city wood'.
